I've done every troubleshooting solution and it still says refer to operations manual, what do I do?

Oh, I had the exact same problem. Have you referred to the Operations Manual? Just have a look in there. If you have lost the manual or the info in the manual doesn't work, check all your cables behind your TV and clean the disk. If the problem still consists, you might want to consider buying a Wii U or calling someone to have a look at it. Hope this helped!

Wii can't play disk. An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button, remove the game disk, and turn the power off. Please read the Wii Operations Manual for more information.

Check if the Cd you have played was the original or the pirated ones as they may not play and show up errrors.
On the other hand do accordingly and if the fault shows up as said clean the head and try.
If not the possibility of the head being faulty needs a check

Cannot play wii fit plus

Remove the disk, check for any finger prints of scratches and clean the disk if needed,

Turn off the Wii, remove the power cable and let it sit for a couple of min. Then pulg it back in, power back on and then try putting the disk in again.

If it is still giving errors/issues, try doing an update to the wii software in the settings menu and try the disk again after that finishes and the wii has been restarted.

My Wii is no longer reading a disk. I put it in and I get a grinding sound soon after it goes to a black screen that says "an error has occurred. press the eject button and remove the disk and turn the Wii...

I would definatly contact Nintendo customer support. It sounds like your Disc drive on the Wii is going bad. They will either fix or replace your wii, if it is still under warranty then they will do so at no cost to you.

Console problem

I'm having the same issue. Doesn't matter what game disk is in, after a little while of playing, the screen goes black with the message that disk can not be read. Eject disk and power off, then power back on and re insert disk. No error code is given. I just bought this console yesterday and this error has happened probably 10 times already. Wanted to get online and see if this was a common wii problem or I just possible got a bad one.

Freeloader

The latest Wii firmwares does not allow the Freeloader disk to boot in the console. If the games start just right, then that's the only problem.
