I refilled my canon color cartridge but still it displays color ink empty

There is nothing you can do with this mate. This is because original cartridge has programmed chip where it's stored info about ink level, ones it goes empty chip doesn't accept refills and gives you wrong info, just ignore this message.

A canon ink tank is not being recognizd. Previously it was working fine. Then I added a new black cartridge. Now the magenta won't work. All Canon cartridges. Trina

All ink tanks has a memory chip. With this chip the printer recognize the ink tanks and the ink level.Sometimes this chip failed.Just replace the magenta ink tank.

Trying to reset chip on refilled ink tank on CANON MP830

Looks like Fillserv.com has a chip resetter for the CLI8 color cartridges, but I don't know if that unit will reset the big black PGBK cartridge in the MP830.

Color Inktank

May be time to replace the print heads as a new unit is quite pricey. Refurbished from canon is about $150.00, print heads are about $50.00
