This problem should not come under monitors. This is a problem with your file system. Your computer might be infected with a virus. Some Antivirus software also makes the system very slow. Also try defragmenting the hard disk. Uninstall the programs you don't need. Clear temporary files and the recycle bin. If nothing helps much, install the OS again.

You need to change the display resolution of the computer. for the purpose you change the video adapter settings as follows:
Restart the computer, and while it is restarting, press F8
until the Startup menu appears. Press 3, and then press ENTER to start the
computer in Safe mode.
Right-click the desktop, click Properties, and then click
then you change the resolution to 1024x768
and restart computer in normal mode
