After the self cleaning cycle the oven door will not unlock. Have run thru another cleaning session and also disconnected power to reset. Nothing has worked Help??

Unfortunately, the high-temperature limit sensor has probably been triggered/fried. The door can't unlock automatically because the oven thinks you will get burned. If you pull the oven away from the wall and remove the back panel, you may be able to manually unlock the latch. However, the oven will not work until the sensor is replaced and the unit is reset.

Appliance Parts Pro lists two limit sensors for some models in the JMP28 line. One is for the upper oven; the other is for the lower oven. See: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/search.aspx?model=ge%20jmp28%2027 . Other vendors may also have the limit sensor. Once the part is replaced, you will need to use the Reset button to clear the error. If your oven is still under warranty, call for GE for service. You may prefer to have a professional make the repair even if the oven is out of warranty.

I hope this helps.

F1-1 reading on control board

F1:-1 may appear on your Gemini oven range for various reasons, but the meaning is always the same. The error means that the display relay control board thinks your temperature on your upper double oven range is running away and getting too hot. To fix the error F1-1, check the wire harness between your oven sensor and your control board to make sure the wires are secure and the connections are good. Pull the oven out and remove the back panel on the oven to check the wires connections. If the connections and wires check good, disconnect the wire connection to the oven sensor and check the resistance of the sensor. The resistance should be 1100 ohm at standard room temperature. If the sensor is not good you need to replace it, and if the sensor checks within range replace the display control board. Here is the part to order.

All parts come with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

Solutions (1) Depending on what type exhaust you have ( dual or single) you will have several oxygen sensors. The bank # XXXXX means it is one of the o2 sensors on drivers side. The sensors are located screwed directly into the exhaust pipe at different spots. See below. You will have say sensor 1/1 which means sensor 1 / bank 1 etc..

Electrolux Slide-in range model EW30ES65GSD Fault code F11. We press cancel (either once or holding for various number of seconds). Within a minute or two, the code bell rings again and keeps ringing until...

The F10 F11 F12 F13 F14 Error Codes indicate that the electronic oven control board senses a runaway temperature condition in the oven through the oven sensor circuit.
This can be caused by a faulty oven temperature sensor probe or a failed electronic control board.
Oven temperature is detected by the control board as it monitors the resistance through the oven temperature sensor circuit.
You could have a failed oven temperature sensor, a wiring harness failure, an open thermal switch or a failed electronic oven control board that would cause this problem.
The first component to check would normally be the oven temperature sensor probe.
If you have a volt/ohm meter, you can shut off the breaker for the range and remove the screws that mount this sensor to the back wall of the oven.
Carefully pull the wire harness into the oven cavity until you get to the wire harness disconnect plug.
You should have enough slack to pull it this far into the oven.
Disconnect the sensor but do not let the wire harness retract back through the back wall of the oven or it will be hard to reconnect.
Measure the resistance of the oven temperature sensor with your volt/ohm meter. At room temperature, the resistance should measure around 1100 ohms.
The resistance chart is shown in the image below.

If the resistance is above 2200 ohms at room temperature, then the sensor probe is causing the F10 error code and will need to be replaced.

You can order a new sensor probe from the Sears PartsDirect website. The part number for the sensor is 316217002.

If the resistance is normal, then one of the other causes mentioned above is producing your F10 code.
You would need to access the electronic oven control board (Timer) in the console and check the resistance at the sensor circuit connection to the control board as the next step in troubleshooting this problem.

Get a f3-1 error code we just had a new ignitor assembly part put in but now get this error code what do i need to do to fix this? thanks in advance

This means the controller has detected a problem related to the temperature sensor. It could be the sensor itself, pinched/shorted wires or connector to the sensor not seated properly.

Sometimes this is due to a failure in the controller itself. If this turns out to be the case, we may be able to help you. We repair oven control boards.

When we cook in the oven it says F2 every 10 mins.

This means that your oven temp sensor has failed. There is no way to fix the sensor. You have to replace. The f2 means that your oven has reached its heaeting limit and it shuts down for safety. Replace oven temp sensor and it wil fix it.

Oven beeping f1 and f3

Here are the error codes for your range:

F1 Circuit board defective Replace control board F2 1. The oven temp has risen above 665F and the door is not locked or
2. The temp has risen above 965F with the door locked 1. Check oven temp in mode that failure occurred. Replace EOC (Electronic Oven Control) if above limits
2. Check 8-pin connector. Check and replace oven temperature sensor if necessary F3 Oven temperature sensor is open (above 3000 ohms) Check resistance of oven temperature sensor, check for open wiring between oven temperature sensor and control F4 Oven temperature sensor is shorted (below 500 ohms) Check resistance of oven temperature sensor, check for shorted wiring between oven temperature sensor and control F5 Internal watchdog circuit has detected a failure Defective EOC (Electronic Oven Control) F6 Shorted buttons Check push buttons and dome switches on control F8 Logic interrupted (lock motor switch sequence) Check door lock switches and wiring

Most likely problem is the oven temp. sensor. Should check around 1100 ohms at room temp. I would replace that first because it is the easiest and cheaper than an oven control.

Avanti DG241BS - oven will not stay on

There has to be a protection system in the burner assembly to cut the supply of gas to the burner if it does not light. For the case of an oven the supply must be cut off immediately if the burner and its pilot go out. For that gas control system to work the burner control must "recognize" with a sensor when the burner is lit and when it is not. Pushing the knob "in" momentarily on this model bypasses the protection system momentarily to allow a burner to be ignited in the first place. If releasing the knob extinguishes the flame the control system is not "seeing" the flame. I tried to find some detail info on you particular ignition system but to no avail so all I can offer is a general approach to these kinds of problems . You need to find and clean or replace the sensor used to detect a flame. It could be an optical one (doubt that) or a temperature flame sensor, a thermocouple sensor, or some other kind I haven't thought of. Fixing this problem involves first determining what kind of sensor it uses. A copy of a service manual for this model can help you determine that. Try to clean the flame detector, and if that doesn't work you have to replace it or the gas control assembly it is a part of. If you have a spark ignition and its not sparking when it should first clean it --carefully--. Spilled food can short them out. Unplug the range before doing this. The owners manual shows it to be under the top burners which can be removed for cleaning this.
