It takes them anywhere from 2-4 weeks to repair it, then you have to take the 3-5 business days for the shipping. Im not entirely sure what the problem could be though.

Hey ive been trying to play my xbox 360 but everytime it keeps saying open tray and close tray over and over again what can i do?

If your Xbox 360 will not play your games this is because of the sensors on the back of the drive overheating it is not normally the laser.

Luckily you can fix this yourself and get back to your games and to do this you need the proven Xbox 360 Repair guide.

Or you can send it in and they will fix it for you the repair will take about 4 weeks.

Xbox360 repair price

Hey Javon,

From my experience you only have to pay to get it repaired if you're out of the warranty. However, I don't believe you should have to pay regardless if the problem you get on your xbox360 is a problem caused by Microsoft's design. IE.. The overheating issue.

But, if your laser goes bad, DVD drive door isn't opening and things of that nature, it's not out of the question since alot of those problems could be caused by something the owner of the xbox has done.

Drive won't stay closed

Hey, david I think that your magnet is probably loose. I think that the solution is call microsoft tell them your problem and they might know how to fix this problem, if not tell them if they can ship a box so you can send your xbox console so they can fix your problem. If not another solution is that if you have warranty get a new xbox and hold on to your hard drive so you wont lose all your memory. Gamertag

Go to www.xbox.com and choose "sign in" on top right.
Click on "forgot password". Type in email you think you used when signed up. They will reset password and email to you.

Then you can recover Gamer Tag on XBOX Live.

Hope this helps!
