First, download Memtest86+ at http://www.memtest.org/#downiso and boot from the disk. I would recommend downloading http://www.memtest.org/download/4.20/memtest86+-4.20.iso.zip
Burn the ISO to a blank CD, if you don't have a program to do that, use http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
Boot your computer with the disk in the drive and run a test. If you run into any errors, you need to replace your memory.
Your computer has two slots for RAM, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148163 will work for your machine.

In regards to getting the "irql_not_less_or_equal" BSOD this can be related to several things. You could be having a driver problem or a hardware related problem. To know exactually what your problem is we need to look at the stop code you are getting as well. The link below will show you what number I need to see exactually where your problem is.

Sounds like you have a seriously corrupt hard drive. I am afraid the only way to fix this is to replace the hard drive.

Good Luck!

Blue Screen of Death.........

Vista is not market friendly yet, don't know if it ever will. U should be able to goto the program manufacturer website and get a vista version, sometimes like Norton, they don't have a vista version until later and then want U to buy the new program. Rule of thumb, use windows programs for a windows os.
