Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
I have a dv6135nr HP pavillion laptop. one company says it has a bad cpu the other says it has a bad mother board. How can I tell? I have another laptop but I like the set up of the HP better.
Components like diodes, capacitors and transistors are the only parts on motherboard you may have probs with and these are around the power input .the other issue is if the input connector becomes loose due to wear n teare.in these cases no lights or noises will be seen or heard.in the case of the cpu;lights will be visable and various noises but nothing on screen.this doesnt always mean bad cpu could also be graphics board or invertor(for nothing on screen)

Laptops are not the same as desktop PC that you can easily swap parts to be able to determine which one is causing problem. i suggest that you refer to your product manufacturer service to determine which is causing trouble if other companies are giving you different opinions
