This same symptom happened to me.Check the impeller, if you can pull it out or it just sloshes around in the well housing, then the impeller lock has come out of it's place. Simply pull off the outer intake grill, then twist off the outlet housing. Now you can see that white notched washer and how it must be seated and aligned. Once seated in place use a small screwdriver to turn and lock it in. Now you will see your impeller shaft is no longer loose.

Beckett waterfall / fountain pump W1800 pops breaker everytime you plug it in, consequently it won't run.

Sounds like there are too many things running on the same breaker. Try unplugging some of the other things on that breaker.

Where can I find a replacement impeller for a 10 year old beckett water pump? The only model information I have is "798" stamped on the out side of the casing.

I'll bet you need to buy a new pump. Most pond pumps from Beckett are sealed and the impeller can't be or should not be changed.

Pond pump trips circuit breaker

The circuit breaker trips because there is an electrical short in the pump itself or in the wire feeding the pump. A cause of this could be a bare wire, or a crack in a wire. Remove the pump and put it in a five gallon pail of water and test it. If it still trips the breaker you will know the problem is in the pump or the cord to the pump.

3 year old Beckett AFG with Clean-Cut system. New inline filter new strainer, new nozzle, flame looks correct in pattern always. Flame does not sputter prior to shut-off. I did notice that when it shut off...

Called Beckett at 1-800-OIL-BURN and explained the problem. They told me that the solenoid on the oil pump (Clean Cut) was the cause. I purchased a new pump for $50 at the local plumbing supply and installed it. Problem solved.

Beckett home oil burner

problem is pump-must replace- there is a valve inside unit that holds pressure to about 150psi -it is leaking by when unit shuts down- causing problem. If left unrepaired you could blow chimeny connection with bad ignition. good luck
