I Have a Xerox colour printer 621 and getting the error message (power off, wait 5 seconds then switch on (15-384) or call for service quote on the above fault code) what dose this mean?

I rang FujiXerox, and because the machine's service contract has expired, they refuse to service it - no matter how much I pay them! So I'm a bit stuck.

Your printer power supply internal is not proper, get help from service provider by telling them error code (15-384), if possible they will try tell u solution online or will attend the complaint.

Hi.
This procedure will clean errors like Note: type errors 09,005.49, 09,006.41, 09,007.42, 09,008.43 ('Ink Loader Fault - respectively cyan, magenta, yellow, black)

Start disconnecting the power cord for ten minutes , then remove the black stick check it and put it back. Ensure you are using original cartridges.


Turn the printer on, to enter the Service menu:

1. -You can access the menu using the FRONT PANEL:
  • Press the down arrow, select "Troubleshooting" from menu and then press OK
  • Press the down arrow until you get "Maintenance Tools" and then press OK
  • While holding the arrow at the top, also press the down arrow at same time, to access the hidden service menu.
  • Scroll down the menu until getting "Enter Diagnostics" and click OK. Wait about 20 seconds, then go to Step 3

2 - If you can not Access the menu because the printer is stuck with the error message on display.
  • If the printer is on, turn it off and wait 10 seconds. Turn the printer back on.
  • Wait to see the Xerox logo on display.
  • Before Xerox logo getting steady on display, press and hold the Back button (back) and 'i' (Help) on the Control Panel.
  • Hold down both buttons until the display shows "Beginning Initialization Service Mode". Release the button and the printer will restart showing the menu "Service Diagnostics".


3 - Scroll using the arrows until "Function Menu" appears and press OK

4 - Scroll using the arrows until you get the command "Clear Fault ISC" and press OK twice to confirm.

5 - Now push the "back" button on the control panel (usually at the left), then press "Exit Diagnostic", then OK twice to confirm.

6 - The printer will restart, and the error message will be gone.

7 - Remove the sticks, check them and load them back correctly.


If the error does not clear, then it is due to a fault, in which case contact Xerox technical support at the number listed on the owners manual.

Solution : Power Off the Printer, Wait 45 Seconds, Then Power On the Printer Some problems can be resolved by powering the printer OFF and ON.
WARNING: Only use the power switch on the printer to power the printer OFF and ON. Damage may occur to the printer if power is interrupted by other means.
CAUTION: When cycling power on the printer, any incomplete jobs in the queue will be lost and will have to be resent.
  1. Power OFF the printer using the power switch located on the top, right side of the Control Panel.

Hp4355 print catridge error


Each cartridge having printing life, as long as cartridge health condition is good it won't gives any trouble. Subjected series printer having mono & colour cartridges,1. Remove both cartridge from the printer 2. Switch on & wait till message appears for insert the cartridges..3. Insert mono(Black) cartridge, close the door & wait till message appears on screen. If message appears same as cartridge error mean that mono cartridge is faulty replace it, if message appears like insert another cartridge, it's confirmed that colour cartridge faulty.. Replace it..

Hp laserjet 3055 has error message on copying "50 fuser error, turn off then on". Restarting brings on the same message when copying.


The all-in-one has experienced an internal hardware error.

1. Turn off the power by using the power switch, and then wait at least 30 seconds.
2. If a surge protector is being used, remove it. Plug the all-in-one directly into the wall socket.
3. Check the cabling connections to the heating element.
4. Turn on the power and wait for the all-inone to initialize.
5. If, the error persists, replace the fuser.
NOTE The device power mustremain off for at least 20 minutes forthe fuser to cool down and correctly reset.
Turn off the power switch, wait at least 20 minutes, and then use the power switch to turn on the all-in-one and wait for it to initialize.

I get an HP error message on 2600n printer saying "57 Fan Error". Is it fixable?

Turn off then on
The device has experienced a problem with its internal fan.
Turn off the power by using the power switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the power and wait for the device to initialize.The fan is not replaceable. Replace the engine.

Solution : Power Off the Printer, Then Power On
  1. Power off the printer using the power switch located on the front, right side of the machine under the Control Panel.
  2. Wait until the Touch Screen becomes blank.
  3. Press the power switch again to power on the printer. The entire power on process (to power on and complete a self test) takes less than 45 seconds. Certain functions of the printer, such as copying, will be available before other functions.

Xerox WorkCentre XD155DF front panel error code "L 6" What does that mean and what is te repair? It occurs during power on and will not continue to power up after the code is encountered.

Here's your geek-steer ...

Per manufacturer's support page, your device "Xerox WorkCentre XD155DF" is no longer made or sold by Xerox, therefore I'm presuming it's maybe getting a little long in the tooth.

Unable to locate error code "L 6"/"L6" for this device. However, per the "XD Series" user's guide, errors L1 thru L5 provides suggested solution of what's quoted following. Logic dictates L6 would have been paired up right alongside if not for this being an earlier published parent document to your later ...155DF suffix'd device.

... which in tech parlance is an age-old, fundamental-as-they-come procedure known as a "reset/reinitialization". Which actually, right up to present day, is a surprisingly often successful remedy.

== SUGGESTION ==

If I were you, I'd first try a quick reset/reinitialization as guide instructs. If/when that doesn't remedy, start from scratch:
  1. Check for/download latest driver(s) from support website
  2. Uninstall device's software.
  3. Turn off device.
  4. Unplug device.
  5. Wait 10 minutes.
  6. Disconnect all remaining cables/cords (both ends).
  7. Inspect for damage/wear and clean each cables' end fittings.
  8. Reconnect all cables/cords.
  9. Reboot.
  10. Perform a registry cleanup.
  11. Reinstall device using latest version software/driver(s), carefully following manufacturer's installation checklist.
That's just about as anal-retentive and thorough a reset as you can accomplish. Many would think it's too anal, but not me. I've discovered over a long period of time, from long-ago up to this very day ... printer type devices are THE most persnickety of them all. They're the house-cat of the PC/IT world ... vay'we, vay'we scay'we!

If still problem-ed, I'm sorry to say there's nothing much else I can offer as a solution, other than what the manufacturer's guidance is: "call for service".

A Controller error or print engine error detected. Turn off the printer. Wait at least 5 seconds and then turn it back on.
