Question about EnGenius EOC-3220 (EOC3220)
Trying to help a friend out... we did the whole hyperterminal flash reset reboot thing on 3 diff EOC-3220+'s and all have same prob... it will not allow me to connect to it thru any ip address after flash reset
192.168.1.1 don't work nor does any other ip.
once in a great while the computer will obtain a dhcp address of 169.254.156.4 as dhcp server and I can ping that address but wont allow me access to the unit thru web browser. had 4 units total to start with... the first one worked like a charm flash reset reboot fixed it and had default ip 192.168.1.1 but these 3 here nothin.... any ideas?
I had that problem too.. I scan the radio IP with Dude, software that come free for mikrotik.. and I got 192.168.1.245 for my radio. since that day I know that 3220 will go to that IP after flash reset. the mode will be Ap only, if you change to AP on operational mode than it will go to the standart Ip either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2
Hope this will help

b. Select correct COM port. Ex:COM1.
c. Set baud rate as "38400", data bits "8", parity "none", stop bits "1", and flow control as "None". Then press "OK" to bring up the HyperTerminal window.
4. Wait until the "#" is displayed in the HyperTerminal window.
5. Type "flash reset", then hit enter.
6. Type "reboot", then hit enter. After the device reboots, all settings will be at factory default.
