Spund slike a lid switc issue, try opening and closing the lid a few times and as you do listen for a distinctive "click " noise rigth before the lid closes, if you dont hear tha tthe machine is not recognizeing that the lid is down as for safety reasons will not advance to drain/ spin mode. if this is the case youlkl need to replace the lid switch assy

Washer stopped after wash cycle

The lid switch is the culprit. Push down on the lid it should start. It needs to be adjusted . the tab on the lid is not activating the switch. Try triming the door bumpers.

The tub will not spin in the rinse cycle

This sounds like a timer problem if it will spin in other cycles. If you hear a motor running but no spin it is the motor couple.

Whirlpool top load washer gets stuck on spin and stops

your lid switch is most likely can this by taking two screws from face of machine and flip face will see a disconnect plug on machine that goes to your lid switch.unplug machine and unplug disconnect at top of washer under the face, you will need a jumper wire to put in 1st and 3rd hole in your disconnected.plug machine back in and see if it will go into can also put your finger on lid switch and push in on it and if you dont hear it clicking or if you dont see the finger to push in then it is definately lid switch.
