The blue light comes on and goes right back off. I can hyear a clicking, like it's trying to kick on then it goes off by itself. I even put in a new fuse. It still same results. On Off On Offr On Off
Power supply problem of course...set is not dead so line fuse would be good as you said...regulating power supplies are very stable but do contain >>>CAPs<<< caps can leak ,swell do to heat ,etc.
check for visible signs of damage to caps. on circuit board...check regulating transistor( on heat sink)
the >>> on off on off routine<<< makes me think check caps!!!!!

I have a similar problem with the same tv....FLX3710....i plugged mine into my computer via VGA and it slowly died over the course of a day. The first time i turned it off, with the VGA plug still attached, it would not turn on again until I had removed the vga and power cord, let it reset, then reattached power. Finally, now, it is dead, just a red-light. I gather this is a common problem, but I haven't seen the solution posted anywhere. I changed all the caps on the power supply, even though they tested fine - what else can it be? I am not sure where the fuse is on this, I don't see one on the power supply board, but maybe I am missing the obvious? What is the location and role of the regulating transistor? thanks for your help
