Probably a problem with dc controller or main board

Toner gets in the developing assembly toner sensor (TS1) and may be shorting out the sensor. Blow out any toner in the sensor wiring and check to see if measure resolved the symptom. The toner level sensor has an open-circuit, replace the toner sensor.

However, re-attachment of the sensor also solves the symptom.

When the symptom has occurred, make the following selections in service mode [COPIER > I/O > DC-CON] and check the setting for the bit1 of [P021]. If the setting is "1", re-attach the toner sensor.

Change the Fuser film which is inside the fuser unit .... Happy Printing :)

press "addtional function button" then 28 button then "addtional function button", new box will come after that clear all jam(touch all things then touch ok button , one by one) & restart the machine.

some times it does not work and u have to need replace ur hard disk

To scan any document with machien first of all u have to need connect ur machine with ur compuer via cross cable,

actually what you will need to do is download the drivers from the canon website..

then you will need to goto the copier go into additional functions ...

then click on system settings....

then network settings.....

you will need to go into ip address and give the copier a static ip address, put in the subnet and the gateway, then it from dhcp... this is safer and it will not change change ip addresses everytime the copier is reset.

then you will need to go though the menu items one at a time and put in the proper dns settings for your network. once all that is done you should be able to reset the copier and then try and ping it from one of the computers.
