Mag Innovision LT541s: Green light comes on but no picture now. The picture was very very faint for a day and then it went out completely.

How long have you had this Monitor? If the green light comes on and you don't see any picture, this might be an indication that the picture tube of your Monitor has already failed. This can be fixed by "rejuvenation". It's an old technique and I'm not sure if you have any local technicians who does it in your area.

My monitor (Mag Innovision 700p) is turning on and is showing whatever it would normally show for 2 seconds then short out to black. The green light is still on.

i do believe the inverter part connected to the power supply may need attention (ie: it may require replacing the little PC board). it shorts out becuiase it has very little life remaining , perhaps one of the diodes is dead or a capacitor is hsorting out the current from it

have you brought it to a monitor repair person ? if it means that much to you, bring it in for testing

shoukd cost about $50-$75 to rapair

I have a Mag Innovision Flat Monitor/TV Product# RX-276. It won't turn on anymore the light in the front of it also isn't on( red or green). Thank You MsBoyce

It sounds like it is not getting any power.

It is either its power supply circuitry is dead, or power is not getting in to it; check the cable and the fuses (if any). Are you 100% sure that electricity is getting to it? Sounds daft, but I've spent 1/2hour trying to find a fault in a gadget, only to find the house ring-main fuse had blown...

Monitor Mag innovision 796PF. 30% more Black screen

This sounds more to me like you are experiencing problem with your video adapter than the monitor itself. Have you tried a different video card? If you have onboard graphics, you may have to disable it in BIOS inorder to install a new graphics card. Monitors usually either work or they don't. If it requires you to change modes and readjust resolution, it is probably the video card.

Has no electrical connection -- no way to plug it in??

I'm pretty sure it does or it wouldn't have passed QC at the factory.

This monitor needs a power supply, The power supply plugs into a hole about half a centimeter across with a pin in the middle, You might actualy have to turn the monitor upside down to find it.

Black screen

Depending on what kind of laptop you have, your button may look different. Look at the Function keys (all those keys up at the top that have F's in front of them) and see if there is another colored symbol on any of them. You should find a colored symbol that looks like a rectangular monitor.

Press another key toward the bottom of your keyboard that probably says "Fn" or some other kind of "Function" key - not Alt, Ctrl, or Shift. Hold that Fn key down while you press the first key you found that looks like a monitor. That will change your laptop video output mode between several different modes like: laptop LCD panel only; LCD panel and external monitor; and external monitor only.

The purpose of this is if you wanted to plug another monitor into the back of your laptop, or a projector for a meeting or presentation, etc.
