indicates the vertical hold system needs adjusting or there is a problem with vertical hold board
there may be a button adjustment on the set
too far one way it goes up , too far the other and it goes down
Vertical or frame rolling indicates adjustment of the frame hold is required or perhaps there is a synchronisation fault.
Breaking of the picture in the horizontal plane is caused by the line hold requiring adjustment though the symptom can be connected with interior or exterior signal problems or perhaps a power supply fault, especially where both the line and frame are affected together.
It is probably a task for an engineer or at least someone with access to the servicing instructions.
The trouble is not the focus of the flyback transformer, the one you adjust is the screen try to return the original position. try to check the crt socket it is connected to the picture tube if you see something in the pin that is color green it is corroded try to replace it with the same type of crt socket.
hi! he might have adjusted the vertical hold and height including the linearity. normally on the board you would see a trimmer resistor with a label v-hold this is to stop the rolling, v- height for the size of the picture. and linearity for the evenness of the picture from top to bottom.

on each headlamp assembly, there will be either one or two plastic nuts that you can turn.
If you only have one nut on each, that will adjust the vertical aim of the headlights.
If you have two nuts on each, one will adjust the vertical and the other will adjust the horizontal.
your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height
from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams
and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same
bulb, only do it for the lows)
If the headlights read VOR, then
aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall.
If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.
