Help!! when I turn on my (tomtom one) it go's to a screen (with drums beating) not the screen where it boots up... the it telles me on to disconect to my pc.... well, I'm not on the pc I'm in the car... help?
Hi, to all looking for a solution, there is one but I'm struggling to find it. Most people use OEM or faulty TomTom car chargers which provide WAY too much amperage for a TomTom thus blowing the onboard power supply. Open yours up and you'll know doubt find a fried component of some sort. The only problem is diagnosing which component and getting a new one. Alternatively, send it back to TomTom providing it's still in warranty. Hope this helps!

If you have a tom tom from the GO models
they hace a reset button you can press with a pin were the mount fits.
When you plug in the charger the green light should come on to say it is chargeing.
Try the car adapter to charge the tom tom
Unfortunately there is only a limited amount of space on the ONE. You can back up your Tele Atlas maps on a laptop using TomTom Home. As long as you have your maps backed up in TomTom Home, you'll be able to install each set of maps on the fly. It may seem like a hassle, but it's better than having only one set of maps
