Question about Arris SURFboard SBG900 Wireless Router (DHSBG900)

'Windows Cannot Connect' Error message

I have rebooted and reconfigured my sbg900 countless times. Everytime I have done this and tried to connect to my network all that pops up is an Error message. 'Windows Cannot Connect' so, I proceed to diagnose the problem and it is telling me that the wireless association failed because Windows did not receive any response from the wireless router or access point. I know my internet works, because with a USB or Ethernet cord I can connect, but I cannot connect to my Wireless. Any suggestions?

Reset the router to its "factory" settings, which reverts to the "default" password.
Then, reconfigure your router, and choose a new password.

Everytime i access 192.168.1.1 there is an error message "webpage cannot be displayed".im trying to setup my wireless router and the wi fi is not working at all.help.

What IP address are you attempting to connect from?

A lot of the time people can't connect because they connect from address is on a different subnet. If you've done this, manually set the address of the machine you're connecting FROM to 192.168.1.x Replace x with a number between 10 and 100. The IP address you choose for this cannot be in use.

If that doesn't work:

Please go to this page and follow the directions listed under the section titled: Cannot Connect to 192.168.1.1?

Keeps disconnecting and wil not get better than a "lo" reading on

Try hard resetting and reconfiguring it , try playing with the channel too. If still does not work try flushing the firmware.

I dont know the key

You will need to check the wireless settings of the router .
Is there any computer connected to the router with the Ethernet cable?
If not then connect 1 computer to the router and open the router set up page. Once you open the router set up page, you will be able to find the wireless network key.
Use that password to connect to the wireless network

Contant need top reboot the program

Do a wireless scan on your computer and out how many wireless access is in your neighborhood. More than likely that your router is sharing the same wireless channel number as your neighbor's. Go to your router and cheange to opposite of what your neighbor is on.
