How do i download ringtones from my computer to my motorola v180 ?

There is no motoroal v180, there is a v170, v190.

If the phone does have a sd card, after you put the card into the phone
and format the card, you can put the phone into a computer and place
ring tones into the ring tone folder.

If you have a motorola USB cable, you can plug the phone into the computer and the computer will see the card in the phone.

If the phone does not have a sd card, you need motorola phone tools,
its a program for motorola phones.

Lost ring styles and screen saver choices

this is because the ring tones or screen saver you have chosen may be stored or present in your memory card....
and when you connect your phone to computer via data cable it disconnects memory card from phone..... this can be checked by following method
1.connect your motorola v3i phone with computer via data cable.then go on any category i.e pictures,songs... then select the storage device u will find there only phone memory available no memory card option.this continues till ur phones remains connected...
1.transfer all your selective files in phone memory, then this will not happen.
