How do I change the upper console clock on my '02 Jeep Liberty?

I just got my jeep and I don't have an owners manual. How do I change that clock on the upper digital console above the rear view mirror? I press reset and it goes to 00:00 then counts real slow, but I cant find a button that makes it set, and I doubt they expect you to wait until those numbers go all the way to the current time! That would take like 10 min.

Hm, there are no h and m button. The reset button does the same thing each time just making it start from zero and begin to count again. Are you sure your talking about the console on the ceiling above the rearview mirror?

After you press reset again then press the h button to adjust the hours and then press the m button to adjust for minutes (you may have to press the reset button 2-3 times to take it out of the timer mode)

The same thing is happening to me on my 1995 chrysler lhs. I press the reset button and it just starts counting slowly and there is no H or M button. I tried pressing the reset button a couple times and it just starts counting slowly again. And yes it's on the console above the rear view mirror. How do you set the clock?

Here's a link to the manual Pioneer's web site.

Here's how you set the time (from page 16 in the manual):

1: press SOURCE and hold until the unit turns off.
2: Press AUDIO repeatedly until the clock appears in the display
3: Press (left arrow) or (right arrow) to select the segment of the clock display you wish to set (hours, minutes)

Jeep Going Dead and Backfiring

Have someone get behind you and see if they can smell rotten eggs. It could be the 02 sensor going bad. Is the check engine light coming on? Also try to change the fuel filters. There should be two. One by the fuel tank and one on the firewall. They are very inexpensive and could be the cause of all the trouble. If that doesn't work, I would suggest hauling it off to the car crusher.

Was it working before?

I would hate to have you crack it open when maybe the ground wires arent hooked up right. Unless you have a scope go online and get the manual on wiring it to ensure you did it right.
