Video/audio trouble I've been using my console 4 quite sum time now, and i occasionally clean the parts. yesterday, i turned on my n64 (super smash bros., i cud beat u all!) and everything was working fine. i untangled my 1st controller and sum of the other cords and i think i bumped my video/audio cord and suddenly the picture and sound died! i tried putting it back in and noticed the plastic cord end (that doesn't go in the tv) cracked a little. i've tried snapping it back it place and putting back in the main console multiple times and ways w/ no success, PLEASE HELP!

I dont know exactly how to fix it, but if you take it to a games place and ask them, they should tell you. They wont have to do it for you. Just try and you may end up getting a new one! Good luck.

My wii will not read any of the disc

You can try Nintendo's Wii lens cleaning kit. Also, some older Wii units have trouble with dual layer discs, which pack more info onto a disk (Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Metroid Prime use dual layer discs). If your Wii is having trouble reading a dual layer disc you can try Nintendo's Wii lens cleaning kit for that too.

If after cleaning its lens your Wii still can't read any disks then you'll want to contact Nintendo.

Do i need a exspansion pack to play games on nintendo 64

Well Perfect dark and excite Bike N64 version the DK64 and the ZElda games need expansion packs because of their higher graphics and mega byte qualities to work. But mario kari64 mario 64 and jamesbond goldeneye and mario tennis and super smash bros dont need an expansionpack then.

Nintendo wii message reads: error occured remove disc turn off console check operations manual for information! on 2 new games

Hi,

Some older Wii units also have trouble with Dual Layer Discs, which pack more info onto a disk like Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Metroid Prime. If your Wii is having trouble reading a dual layer disc you can try Nintendo's Wii lens cleaning kit. the other resolution for this is to change the laser on the system but it will cost you for that. Try to clean the lens first it might read the new disk.

Thanks for using Fixya.

My super nintendo system turns on but then freezes in the middle of the game. I have tried all my games so I'm thinking its not the games but the console Any thoughts?

Well maybe the console needs to be cleaned out esspecially if its filled up with dust.
Dust causes video game consoles to over heat 10 times faster than their normal heat rate then.
I have had this issue before with my N64 console so I cleaned it out and no stalling yet.

Snes screen jumps on certain tv

Okay, what I would try is hooking up the snes using the n64 cable. right next to the rf slot in the back of the super nintendo is a slot thats the same video output as the n64 you can plug in the rca cables from it and see if they work
