Question about Kitchen Ranges
I have a Whirlpool Electric Range Model GR450LXH. The problem that I have is when I try to self clean, the lock engages and 2 seconds later disengages. this continues indefinitely until i turn off the self clean mode. Any ideas?
Sound slike you have a bad monitor switch on the latch motor assy( it should sense that its locked and advance into cleaning however since the switch is bad it continues to try to lock itself.you can try to pull nit out and remove the back panel from stove teh atch/lock assy is mounted there adn chek the switch mounted on it for operation.( just looked up and the entire lock/latch assy is no longert avail as of 6-07
