Hi there!

Power outages and lightning are the main causes of Electronic failure. It has obviously affected your TV and will need to be seen to by a repair technician if you are not skilled to do so. Regards and good luck, JUS004

Heard a pop when I turned on tv and now nothing

don't leave it on and have it looked at---most likely is if it uses a lamp that may be the problem but if not it may be in the power supply.

When TV is off and there is a power outage the TV

This TV has a Power Standby feature (pg. 40 of your manual) which allows you to more quickly turn ON the TV. When power is lost and then restored, your TV will display the HP logo screen while it boots the digital circuits. After it is finished, (unless it was previously turned on) it should appear to be OFF. This is normal operation. If you like, you can change this setting to LOW POWER. At this setting, each time you turn on the TV, you will see the HP Logo screen and picture/sound will appear after 20 seconds. Again, take a look at pg. 40 of your owners manual for more information.

My MP600 is not turning on after my home had a power outtage. The power in my home is now on and everything else turns on except my MP600 printer. What doo i need to do to turn it back on?

Unplug the power cord for a couple minutes and when you power on again, hold the power button for a few seconds until you hear a beep. There may have been a surge with the outage that has hurt the internal power supply requiring a shop repair if the power doesn't return.

53FDX20B NO PICTURE AND SOUND

It powers up but no picture? In my experience with Hitachi TV's this has been an issue with the convergence IC's failing. You will need to have a technician replace those if needed.

Cl flashing on display

You need to reset the time after a power outage.  Press the Day/Check, Hour, and Minute buttons until the correct time is heard-- Press Day/Check until you hear the correct day announced. Then do the same with Hour, and then Minute.

No Picture No Sound

I think you have a short somewhere inyour set most likely the horizontal output transistor which may have shorted by the high voltage transformer going bad. The faint ticking sound that you hear is the power supply trying to start but the shorted load won't let it. Stargazer
