Hi i was just wondering if you would be able to also email me a driver for the belkin f5d7050 .I am running XP. I tried the driver from the belkin site and it worked then didnt work anymore, i need to reboot my computer to factory settings due to another problem but now the driver i installed the first time will not work i get error code 28. Hope you can help. Thanks in advance.
Spend 30 bucks on a new adapter. I have a version 4 adapter that I use as a paper weight for the same reason. I check back and search for solutions about once a month and have spent hours trying to fix a $30 part. How much is your time worth.

1.Visit: www.belkin.com/support 2. On the top right corner, there will be a search by keyword, a small rectangular blue box 3. In that, type in: F5D7050 and press enter 4. It will give you search results, select the result that says "Drivers". 5. Select the appropriate version for your model. Belkin has 5 versions for the same model. Check for FCC no. on your device. There would be a table on that web page. 6. Verify, download and install
The drivers available from Belkin are exactly the same drivers as are on the PC. Someone emailing you the drivers isn't going to get you any closer to a solution if you haven't got the ones you downloaded to work.
One problem you might be having is that the driver isn't the correct version. Belkin have five different versions of drivers for the five different versions of that model of card. Make sure you're using the right one. An article about the method of identifying your particular model, together with links to the various software packages can be found at http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&aid=5381
Two possibilites here
1. the driver CD is corrupt , though belkin is a plug n play adapter, there is no need to install the cd
2. Since you getting an excalmation suggests , windows recoganises the new hardware but fails to install.
The best option is either change the manufacturer of the adapter or reinstall windows , it should fix your problem
There are a number of locations from which you can download the drivers, even though the belkin site is not available these days. I can probably supply the Win XP version of the drivers by email if needed. Let me know, and I'll put something together. Hope this helps.
Hi, sorry to hear you also having problems with the Belkin. I just bought exactly the same one and have just replaced it with a Netgear one as it didn`t work very well! Dont think the software is too good with Belkin but the encryption I used was TKIP (Belkin did work sometimes!) I also had a network key. sorry I cant help more-melanie
