I would check the instruction book, and or try to find the settings for the display and see if their is an increase sensitivity option on there.

hope this helps

CD Insert Without pushing a button!

This will not work with a Laptop drive unless it is the slot loading type.
We already have 'Eject' when we right click the CD/DVD drive from (My Computer), which ejects the drive tray. But to insert the tray inside,we have to manually push the insert button on CD/DVD drive.
Another way most PC owners insert that CD tray is by pushing the tray itself. I'm sure nobody mentioned this when you got that PC, but that push to insert feature (Also called the bump feed) is not really safe to use over time. If you happen to say, push too hard because you are in a hurry, the gear which pulls your CD tray in can skip a tooth, making that CD or DVD open and close all by itself, or even worse, making it stay locked tight forever.

Here is a trick that allows you to insert the drive tray without actually touching that button. Simply by putting the 'Insert' sub-context(as shown in above figure) menu on the CD/DVD drives Context menu. For this to happen, we need to use a dll file from our windowssystem32 folder.

First of all, download this file CDEject.zip and extract it. There will be two files CDeject.dll and CDeject.reg. Now follow the step by step procedures.

1. CDeject.dll -> copy this file to X:windowssystem32 folder (here X is your corresponding drive letter, usually it's drive C:)

2. CDeject.reg -> execute it. It shows a warning message, accept that and click OK.

Now try right clicking your CD or DVD drive and click eject, then right click again and choose insert.

Amazingly cool isn't it?

So far I haven't found a way to make the CD hop in the tray all by itself, but I am still hopeful.

And you thought you couldn't program!

Have fun with that!

Dell monitor flashing green power button black screen.

Your computer is in sleep mode, a low power mode that conserves power by turning off the screen and hard drive.

Push the power button on the system and the computer will resume.

If you don't like this feature, you can turn off sleep mode in the power options in Control Panel

How do I setup my wireless mouse and keyboard

Need more information but normally you would hook up the infrared device or usb device to the laptop. Then you would make sure that the keyboard and mouse has new batteries in it. At that point windows should recognize the mouse and keyboard. You may have to push on the connect buttons on the keyboad or mouse to get the laptop to recognize them.
Other then that its not really hard. Just time consuming if it doesn't take right away. Most of the time you don't need software installed unless the manual tells you to install them because windows will recognize them.

Power cord is good, computer working last night. This morning powered up did not power up. Checked power cord with another computer cord good. Is there a reset on the hard drive I can hold in or push to...

The first thing I recommend to you is to push all the socket inside your computer..it could be loosen. For example, look at the cord connecting from the power button to your motherboard, just give a try to push it a little and also the other connection you may see like from hard disk to motherboard. If this won't work, your powersupply might have problem unless we see it or you consult it to the technician near you. Be sure to unplug the the computer first before you work on it.

Left wireless mouse button doesn't work hard to push

This is a mechanical problem for sure. If you have to press hard to get a click, pop the mouse open and carefully look at where the mouse button is supposed to touch the micro switch. It might have been damaged by a heavy finger, etc. Any hobby-minded person can cook up a solution to restore this plastic finger so it will aim and hit the micro switch correctly

My Pavillion m7340uk system has being playing up, and I tried to recover via the F10 key half way through I recieved a BSOD. Now the F10 does not work and no boot disk can be found, can I get the actual...

Do you mean the F8 key which is what gets you to safe mode. You must keep tapping the button as you switch on and keep tapping until you see a new screen, select the hard drive you wish to boot to and keep tapping then it opens black screen grey corners, you really should check all you connections  before you try to switch the machine on.Common cause  for blue screen (hardware) loose ide /sata cable to harddrive, pull out and push back tight, check the same for power cable to drive, if not hardware then it will be software, so you should remove any recent drivers or programs you recently installed by going into safe mode, then try to start normally.Failing all of the above you may have caught a virus or malware, malwarebytes is a good start to check the system for probs.Good luck!!

The on off button on the hp processor a124on pavillon sticks.

If you grab a hold of the lower face of the PC and pull it off you will be able to see if anything is jamming the button or if the button is broken if so just use the small grey button behind the Bigger button on the face to turn the PC on..

If that makes no sense i apologise hard to explain

Good luck

Monitor going to sleep

Within the control panel select performance and maintenance within that select power options.

Once in there check that the power is set for desktop computer and that never sleep on monitor or Hard disks.

If this doesn't work then press the OSD button on the monitor and scroll through the setting and make sure that there isn't one that is auto sleep mode after and amount of time.

Thanks J
