The most annoying sound to most people in the Line Volume. I have known people that like it as quiet as posable in thier work, but the problem is if you turn down the ALARM you won’t know when there is a problem. Many people like a little line volume so that they hear when they dial into a busy phone line, or if someone picks up the shared voice line.
This is for a Canon 8500 laser fax.
The volume is loud. We had it turned off which was with a little volume button. The slider is all the way off and the volume is still up. Does not work to turn it in any direction.
