SINCE MANY SERVICE WARRANTY COMPANIES EXIST OUT THERE, YOU NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT THE NAME OF YOUR COMPANY IS AND GIVE THEM A CALL. THEY WILL ASK FOR YOUR PHONE # AND HAVE ALL YOUR INFORMATION ON HAND.

M maytag dryer model-mdg9700a,has no power infront of control buttom

Hello;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

You have a older unit. Some parts are no longer available.

Sounds like you have either:

1.) Bad Power Switch - used parts supplier - $27.00.

2.) Control board - remanufactured parts supplier. $90.00.

3.) Bad connector or burner wire/short - Part cost $10.00.

So, here are your options:
1.) Call a service contractor. You will be charged about $140.00 for the service call and diagnostics. Thereafter, tell you the parts are not on the service truck. Unless it is a short.
2.) Locate a service technician that works on the side and charges you parts plus $65.00 labor.
3.) Purchase a new unit. Go into the website; "Sears Outlet Stores", scratch and dent store. You will save several hundred dollars on a new unit and receive a one year warrantee.
4.) Check out Habit Stores and used appliance stores.

GOT THE TOP OFF MY DRYER NOW, SO NEXT QUESTION IS, IT ALL TURNS ON FINE BUT THE DRUM DOES NOT MOVE, IF I PUSH START THE DRUM IT THEN ALL STARTS WORKING. BUT I AM HAVING TOO PUSH START THE DRUM FOR EVERY...

The drive motor is the most likely failing. If it was a belt or another drive issue, it would not 'engage' and run even when push started.
I suggest a service call, hope its under warrenty.

My dryer want start. It shows only F1 on the display.

An F1 is a control board fault code. You'll want to check and make sure all the connections are tight and connected. Wiggle pull out and reinstall plugs. If problem persist you will need to replace the control board about a $100.00 part. You will only get a warrenty if a service company preforms the work.

The dryer makes a banging noise during the cycle.

Assuming that it is not overloaded it is most likely to be a problem with the bearing and / or mounting tension springs. As it is still under the warranty call Samsung to get it repaited free of charge asap.

We have just purchased a Lg Dryer #DLE1310W which which is yet to be delivered. I have 2 questions: 1. The electrician needs to know if the dryer cord is a 3-prong or 4-prong cord. He is installing the...

lg driers are a 3 prong drier cord receptical he shouldn't have to purchase any other venting as long as the location of the dryer is not in an oddball place The parts included are for basic installation in an area such as the garage or room connected to the garage where the access to the outside is just through a outer wall. Mrs. Leonard good luck on your repairs and hope I helped you some.

Bosch WTL 5410 dryer condensation and washer

First, let me say get more than one bid, second make sure that the construction person
knows what they are talking about. My electrician put a 20 amp with 12 gage wire for the
washer which he thought I would need. Well it turns out the washer plugs into the dryer
which uses a 30 amp he had installed it. Turns out the guy who was to do the installation
insisted that he would have to redo this. I saved over 300.00 from his stupidity and found
a new plumber.
