Question about Cambridge Audio Azur 640A Amplifier
I have an Azur 640A hooked up to various devices - DVD, PVR, Apple TV - and on all audio sources the amp will intermittently snap the speakers as the protection kicks in and turns the volume to zero.
It's not particularly reproducible, except that it happens many times a day (2-6 depending on my luck). I haven't had such troubles before.
It doesn't look like my wall outlet has a separate pin for grounding. Could that be the problem?
I don't think the pin or third prong on your power cord would be the problem, but I would make sure that all of your speaker wires and connections going to your amp are not shorting out against eachother.
