First of all, you should stop saving any new files to your Nokia N70 ( or memory card) or taking new pictures. There are many ways that may lead to card corruption. And there are two kind of corruption: logical corruption and physical corruption. Physical corruption is unable to be recovered, and logical corruption can be fixed. But you should recover the files insides.

Have you tried this memory card on your computer?
If this memory card can be read functionally on your computer, you'd better copy off all your stored data to another memory card or drive and format this card immediately to check whether it can still be read on your phone.
But, if this card unfortunately also gets some errors on your computer, you'd better try to apply a memory card data recovery freeware to get all your stored data back successfully for free:

In fact, this freeware helped a lot as the external hard drive of my friend was mistakenly formatted. It finally restored all the needed data of my friend. It always works well on both of a memory card and a hard drive. So, I believe it will also help you a lot.
Try to read more information of this freeware here:

After experiencing these troubles, I hope you can learn a valuable lesson to back up everything important well all the time.
Is this memory card still recognized by
your computer?
If so, you could plunge it back to your
computer via a card Reader and then download a corrupted memory card data recovery freeware to get back your saved data:

The corrupted drive always could be damaged
logically or mechanically.
The logically damaged card still can be
fixed by reformatting and the contained data also could be saved with the help
of data recovery software.
But, the mechanically damaged drive is often
irreparable and the inner data is also irrecoverable.
So, if the data recovery freeware doesn't make
a sense, you'd better ask an expert for help, if the inner data is very, very important.

I even connected it to PC but PC doesn't recognise the card. Hope this is clear. Please help!!

First, reformat your phone. Go to SETTINGS-Phone-General-Orig.phone settings. then type: 12345.
Be sure to remove your memory card, before doing it. And then, using a card reader, format your MMC on your computer. Right click the Memory Card Drive on MY COMPUTER, then look for Format. Click it and be sure to choose "FAT". Do not quick format. After that proceed. Put back the MMC to your phone, and check if it's ok. It worked for me so as i type.

You may try this mobile phone recovery software named asoftech data recovery which helped me before. You can download trial for free
http://www.asoftech.com/adr/
Please be noted that your phone memory should show as a drive letter in your explorer, if not, you need to take out your memory card and connect using a card reader, or plug-in to card reader slot if there's any on your computer.
