Cannot activesync n35 pda via usb with pc. Downloaded from ms version 4.5.0 but does not recognise pda. Acer shows as mobile devise in My computer but when try to open shows blank page.

Tried it with mcAffee firewall disabled but get same result.

-   I cannot sync my Acer n35 with my PC. It does not recognise the Calendar, Outlook inbox, contacts or notes etc.
I have tried reinstalling it and have upgraded to Activesync 4.5 but with no efect.
I am running Windows XP and use Office 2007.-   barry286

some firewalls, like zone-alarm can cause problems with active sync.

maybe you should try it once with a deactivated firewall,
or change your firewall settings, so that the following ports are available:

• 990 (RAPI) • 999 (Status) • 5721 (DTPT) • 5678 (Legacy Replication) • 5679 (Handshake & Legacy Replication) • 26675 (Airsync)
