Try giving restore factory settings.........

if problem persists then have a have whether the camera is working correctly not,....

before taking pic just check whether it is showing or not,,,

try to record video once ... if it cannot able to show means then the camera strip is gone so you get it changed..

visit the technician..................

My iphone camera just shows a black screen when i touch the camera app and wont allow me to take pictures what can i do

pls see this First !! B4 reset
Straight from Apple Iphone Manual
Camera is not functioning
  1. Tap Camera, then point and shoot. Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation. If you do not see Camera on the any of the multiple Home screens, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tapping Settings > General > Restrictions. If they are, set Allow Camera to ON or tap Disable Restrictions (in iPhone 2.1 software or later).
  2. If that doesn't work, clean the camera lens with the cleaning cloth that came in the box with iPhone.

Camera on a W375

I had the exact same camera blacked-out malfunction. I followed booj's advice and it cured the problem. What I did: I turned off the w375 phone by pressing and holding the red button (not just closing the clam shell, like I normally do), after the phone powered down, I restarted it by pressing and holding the green button. After it powered up, the camera at first had the same black screen, then, all of a sudden, the view finder started working normally and it now takes pictures correctly. - MGB
