Paper jam in Fellowes 2000cc

Hello,
I just started working in an office with a Fellowes 2000cc. The shredder does not function properly. When paper is fed into the opening, nothing happens. I unplugged the machine, and found the last several shredding episodes stuck in the cutting teeth. There is a black shield installed under the teeth that prevents this paper from falling into the wastebin. Besides lubicating the inserted paper liberally, what would you suggest?
