I know ,but it allways resets my clock when ever I turn it on, the phone first ask me for the time and than the date, it didn't use to ask me allways, just when I remove my battery for some time. After I chose "Orig. Phone Settings" form phone settings menu, it started asking me when ever I turn it off and on. I don't know what to do.

Whenever I turn off the phone and then turn it on again, the date and time have changed back to 1st April 2009 at 9am. I update the date and time but when I turn the phone off/on, it has changed again. How can I stop this happening?

I've had exactly the same problem, i spoke to a technition at nokia who said that he'd worked there for 4 years and never seen a problem like this before. then i went into the carphone warehouse where i was told that it was a software problem that had caused this random glich. he advised me to send it away to T-mobile and get them to either fix it, send me a replacement handset or upgrade me to the new n78 since the n73 is no longer being made. good luck fixing it!

Go to MENU>Application>Clock>Option>Settings>Network Operator Time> (make it "Auto update").
I think your problem will be solved.

Hi, I have an nikon coolpix s710...after I set date and time, when I turn off and start again, it ask me if I want to set date and time...please help me to fix this problem because when i start the camera...

1. In Set Up you must select the language you want to use by highlighting it then PRESS OK. If you don't do this then the date/time will not set.
2. When asked to set date and time you must select YES and press OK.
3. After completing each step you must press OK.
4. In the final step you must choose your preferred day/month/year display and then press OK.
If you don't press the OK button at each step the date and time will not set.

The date and time is asked whenever the camera is switched on

Have you set the date and time? If so then your camera's date battery is probably dead and needs to be replaced. First get yourself a CR1220 battery, most often found at your local Radio Shack or online at amazon. Then open the camera's terminal cover (where your USB is) and using your fingernail. Open the battery holder, remove the old battery, and replace with the new one. Reinsert the holder with new battery in your camera and turn on your unit. set the date and time and you should be all set. For further information see your instruction manual or download from Canon at:

http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/7/0900011217/01/PSA520510CUG-EN.pdf'

The instructions for changing the date battery start on page 137.

Hope this helps!

Camera Canon A710 IS started to ask set time date when turned on

When the camera is left without power for an extended period of time, the time and date settings are gone. You need to reset them and when you're finished, click the set/ok button twice.

Everytime i have to set the time & date

Its because your battery is removed.......to keep the date and time intact there must
be some extra charge to keep it going like CMOS battery in computer...
If your battery is removed then the clock will be reset....

Memory full problem

The firmware software has got corrupted ...

you should give the "restore factory setting" once ,after you give this option you will be asked for the security code enter that .. and after the restoration is complete restart your mobile once and check it ...

if you still persist the same problem then you must upgrade the firmware software ..

you can do that only if you have the data cable ...

you can do firmware software upgrade by downloading the application from the website given below :

http://europe.nokia.com/A4579163

but remember not to turn off your mobile or remove the battery while updating is in progress ...

My cam(sony dsc h7) ask for time whenever battery is inserted

Inside the camera is a button battery used for storing settings. It most likely is dead. It takes soldering to remove it.
