Question about Kenwood DDX-6019 Car DVD Player
This unit is installed in 2008 Jeep Wrangler. While in use it would shut off for a few seconds and then turn back on. Tried reseting it but it still does it. Any ideas?
Check your ground. have had that before several times. the factor wire that you though was a ground may be bad but in newer cars its usually a very illusive wire to find. next if you ground your radio straight to the frame and it still dosent work work backwards. hook up only your accesory and your constant and the ground wire. if it still dosent work you have a problem and its not cheap. if it does work then you have a grounding wire or your wiring is not hooked up properly. if you have no idea about anything i just said take it to a install shop. more than likly in an 08 liberty they have a factory amp and your amp is drawing to much on your power antenna lead or you have other issues but this is where you start.
