Did you totally deplete the battery?
If so, you may need to plug it in to your pc to give it a recharge. It can sometimes take a while for the device to get enough power to even turn on, but give this a try first?

    Second solution:

    RESET your I-Pod.

Flip the hold switch on and then back off again

hold down the menu and select buttons for about ten seconds.

Your looking for the Apple logo to pop up on the screen, you may have to try the reset a few times.

If that doesn't work, try getting into disc mode. You'll need to charge the device up, so plug it into your PC for a couple of hours.

Then switch the hold button on and off

hold down the menu and select buttons until the logo shows up

hold down the select and play buttons until disc mode appears

    RESET your I-POD

If all else fails- restor your IPOD to factory settings in the summary tab on the itunes program. You'll lose all your tunes, but you were smart and made afew back up discs, right?

Ive screened locked my ipod nano but i cant remember the code?

The first thing you want to do is to make sure you have iTunes installed. This works even if your PC is not the primary PC for syncing your iPod.

To unlock your iPod screen first plug in your iPod and go to: My Computer. Look for the your iPod device and click on it. The next thing you want to do is to look for the hidden file named: _locked. You can do two things: rename this folder, or just delete the file. (I recommend renaming it)

Eject your iPod safely and you are all set! All your music, photos, and video on your iPod will stay intact. I suggest you go to your iPod combination now and change it to something you will always remember. I hope this helped!

My ipod screen is blank!! HELP!!!

First try to reset it, do this by holding down the "Menu" button and the middle button for about 7-8 seconds. If it still doesn't work, try restoring it. Plug it into your computer and open iTunes. Now select your iPod in the list to the left, then click the button that says "Restore," it`s located right under the picture of your iPod model.
Hope this helps!

Cant unlock my ipod nano.

To unlock your ipod you'll need to connect it with the pc it is last synced to. After connecting it open itunes and from the main screen click on restore, it will unlock your ipod.

Remember after restoring you'll lose the menu settings and other settings saved on your ipod however no data will be deleted from the ipod.

Please accept the solution and revert for further assistance.

How to unlock my ipod

Hook the iPod up to the computer you set it up on and open iTunes. When you disconnect it it should be unlocked. If you are not using the original computer that you set it up with, you may need to do a restore within iTunes.

If you have a third gen ipod nano and you locked the screen lock and forgot the code, well what you do is you hook your ipod to your PC,laptop ect. and disconnect it. It should be unlocked. But if you lock it you have to do that over again to unlock it.

I need to unlock my screen lock but i lost my ipod drive and i cant afford another one

You can unlock your iPod nano in two ways:
â Enter the combination on iPod nano by using the Click Wheel to select the numbers
and pressing the Center button to confirm them. If you enter the wrong
combination, it flashes red. Try again.
â Connect iPod nano to the primary computer you use it with, and iPod nano
automatically unlocks.
Note: If you try these solutions and you still can’t unlock iPod nano, you can restore
iPod nano. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page 50 for more
