Motorola H700 Bluetooth connection problem

Hi there,

Wonder if you could help. I tried your other posted solution and here's my status:

Motorola H700C paired with a Blackberry 8700. Has worked flawlessly for month. Yesterday, I half opened, then quickly closed the boom arm on the headset. Now, the headset will not pickup the calls. I've deleted the profile for the H700C then re-paired the device. All seemed to work fine. I open the boom and the light on my Blackberry turns flashing blue as it normally does when I'm in Bluetooth mode. If I close the boom to the headset, I get the message "Handsfree connection to Motorola H700 lost". However, when I open the boom I USED to get the message "Waiting for connection to Motorola H700". Now I don't anymore. When I try to place a call using the headset, sound still only comes though my phone. What to do???

Have H700C paired with a LG TU550. When using answer button on headset the phone switches to speaker mode. If opening boom after answering call on handset then the call goes to the headset.

1.Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.2.Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3.On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4.Select H700 once a connection is detected.
5.The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm the connection has been made.
6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

please give good rating if the solution works.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Good day, I have a Motorola bluetooth - H700C.

The generic PIN (Which is what I'm guessing you need) for most bluetooth devices is either 0000, or 1234. Please try those and see if that solves your problem.

When someone calls me, they can't hear me if I have my bluetooth in, but I can hear them...I have the Motorola H700C wireless headset.

I have, no-had, two of these H700C. The microphone in both of them failed about when yours did. I had previously split the boom and removed the foam covering the mic due to callers complaining they could not hear me. No solution here as far as I can see, except replacement. I don't understand it, either.

Lost manual h700c...how can i get a password to sync?

Depending on the phone... try and remove the current bluetooth device. Close the headset. Go to the phone and choose discover, or search. Open the headset and press and hold the big button. It should then turn purple and should be recognized.

Also make sure the battery on theheadset is charged before doing this.

The passkey will be 0000, four zeros.

I can't sync my motorola h700c with my blackberry

1. Bluetooth enabled?
2. Options -> Bluetooth -> Add Device

Hold down the connect button on headset until steady purple light comes on, then open the boom.

Search for Bluetooth devices on the blackberry. When asked for a pin, use "0000". Now the H700 will show up in the Bluetooth device list, but it will not connect. Put the headset in pairing mode again, this time go to the h700 listed on the blackberry and select connect. Now the devices will work as normal. When you open the boom on the h700, it will connect to the blackberry.
