The battery wont charge

i had the same problem.

if your battery light is blinking a red light then you should call up casio's technical support and they'll send you a new one within 2-5 business days:)

call 1-800-435-7732 for technical support! :)

I had the same problem - camera is only a few months old and battery wouldn''t charge anymore - i phoned casio. they said they had problems with these batteries. they ask me for ser.number of battery and sent me a new one without charge. works great now.
always phone camera maker, in this case casio. hope this helps.

I experienced the flashing red light issue too.

I read in Amazon.com reviews that you insert the battery and when the red light comes on pull the battery out and re-insert etc 6 times and this will provide the battery with an initial boost and then the battery charger will stay solid red. I tried it this morning and it seems to be charging. However, it's going on 2 hours and its still a solid red. The manual states it should only take 90 minutes or so. I'll soon know.

I bought the camera yesterday as a floor model.

my camera has a green light come on but the camera refuses to turn on...HELP!!!
