The Inverter is trying to produce the high voltage to light the backlight. It looks like it cannot hold the charge to maintain the high voltage level in order for it to stay on - you get a momentary display at initial power-up thus see the logo. Replace the Inverter board.

Hi! I have the same problem, did you solved it? I'm from Brazil, and i have the same plasma display, the customer suport of here, sayed that the problem is the power suply board. I saw that you changed the power suply, where did you found it? I didn't found it here, and i will travel to USA.

AOC color monitor model 5En...during power on all led lights blinks then stops blinking without display action. all led lights on no more action observed.

actually if u repair an aoc monitor alone without getting connected to cpu once u switch on the monitor all led's will lit on ( green light ) it will remain on situation until u connect the vga connector to cpu that's the time led's will lit off and only the power led will remain in green condition.some aoc 5en once u power on power led is in green condition and if not connected to cpu it will be in orange condition.hope u get some idea but i am not sure if it will work with ur monitor. but as long as LEDs lit on i think no problem with ur monitor.

1. turn off monitor
2. unplug power
3. plug power back in, holding down the last button on the left, then push the power button to turn back on and off three times, holding on the third try until it comes on- hold for ten seconds and release; the monitor should work again

check your power cable , eathing. smps check *********** bord dont touch the cabinet.i think u have motherbord grounding or your power suply of pc has pro.
