Error 5 might be the drive motor might be faulty.

Error 5 states that there is a problem with the drive and not the library, either the tape path or read/write head. Replaced drive - works fine

remove the tape manually, looks like a faulty tape, otherwise, faulty library robot, in that case:

IBM TS3200 Code 9F 08

The manual is online with IBM.
Chapter 8 explains the error codes and 9F (mean Error code) means Rotation range out of specification 08 9sub error code) means error during rotation initialisation, get range failed.
Then the manual says: "Isolating a library controller card versus accessor enclosure problem" on page 7-11
But I guess you better look it up yourself. If you don't have any parts, you have to contact IBM.
Look yourself? start in chapter 8, page 225 of the manual under this link.

never asked about error "5". The error "BB" indicated there is a hardware issue relating to the unload process. You can find your answer here... http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=ssg1S7000920&aid=1

Stuck tape

The tape won't come out when resetting the drive. Error 6 is serious.
To get out the tape you must open the drive. But IBM has a discription online (and in the user manual) how you can do this.
