Indesit 18 in. D41 slim line dishwasher

Hiya i know that the problem is a leak but i cant find where it is coming from !
When i turn the machine on to do any cycle it lets a little water in then it starts leaking from the bottom of the machine it seems to stop taking any more water in and makes a clicking type sound untill i turn it off. I have checked every where but cant see any obvious sign of where it could be coming from,

Pull the unit out and tip it carefully to one side. (put some rag down first to mop up the water) then stand the unit back up.
Make sure you can see the back of the unit. put some tissue paper behind the plastic pipe that runs up the back centre of the machine. Turn the unit on and put into cycle. after a few minutes carefully remove the paper if its wet (even a little) the chances are the star shaped lock nut inside is loose or the pipe is damaged. A replacement is readily available and should cost less than a tenner to buy. just make sure you order a new seal as well and get a 20-25mm jubilee clip to replace the one installed.

D41 Model. Switch on, small beep, pump starts, small beep, first green light flashes, no water enters the machine

Check that the water is turned on. There may be a fitting with a screw driver slot in it. This slot shows the direct of the hole that lets the water through and therefore it should be lined up with the pipe direction.

If it isn't turn it through 90 degrees.

Indesit D41 dishwasher, switch it on to program,

if applaince does not start draining then there is a possible fault with the door locking assembly, and the appliance thinks the door is open and this will not allow the appliance to start

The problem is lack of water. Check that the water is turned on at the stop **** and make sure that the hose hasn't been traped if the dishwasher has been pulled out from it resess as happened to mine.

Indesit dishwasher.

It sounds like the anti flood switch is activated, lean the dishwasher back at a 45 degree angle. If water comes out the back you have a leak. Stand it up and try it try dishwasher, if it works this comfirms leak, you will need to find where it is coming from.

Indesit d41 dishwasher

try testing the door interlock, actually this is only a micro switch inside the door behind the plastic front panel, there could also be the possibility there is a broken wire behind the door skin just above the hinge part, take care when working on appliances do not force parts to remove them and always unplug at the mains hope i have helped, if so please rate me well
