WHEN I HOOK MY CAMERA TO MY COMPUTER AND TURN THE POWER BOTTON ON TO THE CAMERA MY COMPUTER "SHUTS DOWN AND WILL NOT RESTART TILL I TURN THE CAMERA OFF. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO PLEASE MAKE IT SIMPLE...

First of all, stop hooking the camera to the computer to download pics. That's not the best way and obviously, your computer doesn't like it. Get a separate card reader and use it instead of your camera. This one is only $13 at Walmart. 46e433f.jpg

My lap top unable to recognized my finepiz digital camera when i hook up with the usb port

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

What should i do to get my pix on to my lap top.

do you have the camera turned on when it's hooked up to the USB? the camera has to be turned on, and sometimes in playback mode. (where you go to view the pictures)

also if all of that was done properly, you may need to download a driver for it. you can look it up online for the specific camera you have.

Hope that helps!

I unhooked my AverMediaVision130 Document camera at the end of school and I didn't write down the instructions on how to hook it back up and it isn't covered in the User Manual. I have a computer,...

From the document camera first, I hooked the VGA OUT to the wall box that is connected to the projector mounted in the ceiling then I connected the VGA IN to the DATA DISPLAY on the SPLITTER. The Computer monitor cable connected to the LOCAL MONITOR connection on the SPLITTER. The connection that comes out ot the SPLITTER I connected to the PCU. Okay, that is what worked. Maybe this will help some other poor soul with this many connections. Especially when the instructions does not allow for this possibility. The books never seem to have the ones given that I need. Oh, Well, the joys of instructions. Darlene

Canon D60 not focusing when hooked up to studio lights

1) Being connected to your studio lights is interfearing with the camera's electronics, disturbing its ability to focus. Does it focus if you're not actually connected to the studio strobes, but are trying to focus using just the modelling lights? 2) There may simply not be enough light for the camera to focus. Canon sells a red LED AF illuminator that sits in the hotshoe (can't remember the part number). That may help. Also, if your modelling lights are set to "tracking" or "proportional", try setting them to fixed full power. You've probably got the strobes set several stops lower than full power, so "tracking" modelling lights rob you of several stops of focusin light. Or try a faster lens.
