How do I scan a document to my computer

It depends on the type of scanner you have, but most of the time it's as simple as plugging the scanner into your computer, laying the document on the scanner surface, closing the lid, and then pressing "scan" in the scanner's software - provided that you have it installed.

If you don't have any scanner software installed, it's likely on a disc that came with your scanner.

Scanner won't work with compaq cq58

You orobably do not have the required drivers for the scanner. I suggest you to browse the manufacturer's website and download and install the latest updates from there. Also if they recommend any utitlity along with driver intall it and then try to scan the document. This will hopefully resolve the issue.

I recently bought a Canon PIXMA MX320 all in one printer with my macbook. It works fine, but I can't figure out how to scan an image onto my laptop.

You need to control the scanner through your PC with canon software that came with your scanner otherwise you cant scan anything..first open the printer/scanner software ,select scanner, then place your document and command "scan" from the software.
Good luck, do rate the solution if helped

How do you scan a document on the rx425

I hope you have installed the MFD on your PC/laptop. If yes then do the following: Start the word processor (MS Word or whatever you use). Start the document and when there is need for the scanned document, insert the document in the scanner and go to File->Import. here you will get a choice of using the scanner. Do that. Alternatively, start the SW that got installed with the scanner. there you will find an option for Start Scanning..

As with most scanners, place the document in the scanner for scanning. Open the software that you wish to use. Select "File" from the menu and then "Import". Your scanner interface listing should appear. Click on the device to begin your import from your scanner. Your scanner should scan the document and it will appear in your application. Be advised, Scanners scan in a Graphic format. To edit in a wordprocessor you will need some kind of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Software to convert the graphics into a wordable form for editing.

Laptop shuts off without warning randomly

I know this may seem like a stupid question, but, is the battery charged good? Also, have you checked the contacts on the battery to be sure they are making good contact? Other than that, sounds like a thermal issue. Does the event viewer offer any explanation?
