Question about Nokia 5200 Cellular Phone
When I try to use any feature it reads message storage memory not ready
Perform a hard restore by keying in on the home screen *#7370# then follow with the default security code "12345" then click yes
that code may not work for all nokia series you can also try *#7780# followed by "12345" then yes
if that doesent work take it to the nearest phone outlet

Same issue. Mine's "Memory storage not ready". I've tried removing the memory card and the SIM card as well but the phone freezes once the backlight turns off. The technician on the repair shop said that it'ss a problem with the keypad's IC but he tried reheating the ic and also using a different data cable,it still have the same problem. He is asking me to format the phone but I can't do that yet since I don't have any copy of my contacts. I'm hoping that there would be another solution to this problem. Also, another thing I noticed is that the phone sometimes restart by itself and when it comes back on it would be just a white screen and then it would freeze.

I am having same issues and I think got the solution...Switch off the phone, remove the battery, and the remove memory card. Now insert batterym swtich on your phone, and insert memory card after 20 secs and you will have no problem in accessing your messages.

I have the same problem but I have a C3 phone (: I've been happy by the way it works until yesterday. At first, I can't open the Photos, then it'll restart. It restarted over and over again whenever I try to open the Photos. Then the last time it restarted, I've waited for the message memory to load because I was wondering why I don't receive any messages. I waited for like hours but it still says "Message Memory Storage Not Ready." I scanned my Memory Card but there's no problem with it. I connected it with PC Suite but it says "Failed to Connect" whenever I select Messaging. I decided to Restore to Factoring Settings and selected All. I reset it for 3 times already. Messaging still does not open. It still says "Message Memory Storage Not Ready". My phone memory is not full yet. In fact, it still has 45.3 MB free. I hope you can help me fix my phone. Thanks~!
