Go to HP's support site and download their auto detect program. I can't remember exactly what they call it. Then the site will detect your machine and give a list of drivers for it. Sometimes the bus and an unknown driver are in a utilities driver set. Just go down the list, you may have to download several before finding the right one, especially for the unknown since there is no way of knowing what type of device it is.
I don't know if you are using a cd from HP whith the windows xp software on it, because I done something like that before and didn't work, you have to find a cd from hp with windows hp software intallation on it otherwise you will have problems, after the installation you can search for the update drivers from hp.com.
