Are you using a genuine Canon grip? I've experienced contact problems with generics. That's not to say that you couldn't have the same contact problems with a Canon grip.

I have lost my camera book and need help .when I try to print pics at Walgreens computer will not load pics.it says no photos available.but I can take pics fine and look at them on cf card in camera b

You may download the manual and more from here.

Are you possibly shooting pictures in RAW format? Photo kiosks such as those at Walgreens won't recognize Canon RAW photos, only JPEGs. Check the camera's image quality settings, as described beginning on page 60 of the manual.

Memory full after about 20 pictures should I be able to take more I come back download and it still only lets me have about 20 pictures each time. This with my 5105.

The number of photos you can shoot depends upon the size of the memory card, you must have a small memory card in your camera . Try inserting a 4Gb to 8Gb memory card in your camera.

Canon 40d will not take pictures

1) CF card in camera? Won't shoot without one

2) Does mirror go up?

3) Canon had a run of bad motors for this model - if mirror does not go up, then it is the mirror motor. If mirror goes up, shutter will not fire, press release again then the mirror goes down, the shutter motor is bad (same model motor). If mirror goes up, shutter fires, both blades travel together/no exposure, probably the shutter is bad.

PNY optima sdhchd 8gb won't read in my Kodak easy

What model Kodak EasyShare camera? Some of them only work with SD cards, not with SDHC cards. The same applies to kiosks. Make sure the slot is marked "SDHC' and not simply "SD".

What is the disadvantage of nikond3100

That depends on what you compare it with.

It's larger and heavier than a point-and-shoot camera, but it's smaller and lighter than an high-end DSLR.

It has a smaller sensor than a high-end DSLR, giving poorer results, especially in low-light situations. It has a larger sensor than a point-and-shoot camera, giving better results, especially in low-light situations.

It's more complex than a point-and-shoot camera, requiring more time to learn how to use it well. It's simpler than a high-end DSLR, requiring less time to learn how to use it well.

It doesn't give you as much control over picture-taking settings as a high-end DSLR will, and many of the settings require going through menus instead of simple buttons and dials. This can make the D3100 slower in operation. It gives you more control over picture-taking settings than a point-and-shoot camera, and provides access to some of those controls through buttons and dials, instead of going through menus. This can make the D3100 quicker in operation.

The D3100 won't focus with lenses without an autofocus motor. Higher-end DSLRs will autofocus with any autofocus lens.

No two camera models are identical. Only YOU can decide which features are most important to YOU. How important is the weight of the camera? Do you want a camera that's easy to learn, or one that's easy to control?

The canon PowerShot SX210 IS only supports memory cards up to 4GB in size. Larger ones will work, but because of the format type the camera uses, it won't be able to read correctly past 4 GB.

Took pics with shoot without card setting on

No. This setting simply allows the camera to go through the motions without a memory card, so you can demonstrate it in the shop. The alternative is to lock the camera so as to prevent shooting without a memory card. Either way, no pictures are saved.

Having trouble with my camer shooting slow between pictures

You might have a USB virus or spyware infection in the memory card. I suggest you have Kodak develop the pictures then wipe the memory card clean. And the pictures might be dark because of the camera settings and or the development quality. Try resetting the camera. Hope this works.

The best situation to use each of the shooting modes

The shooting modes are described as follows: AUTO (Factory default setting) Auto mode is used for regular photography. The camera automatically makes the settings for natural color balance. Other functions, such as the flash mode and metering, can be adjusted manually. Portrait Portrait mode is suitable for taking a portrait-style picture of a person. The camera automatically sets the optimal shooting conditions. Night scene Night scene mode is suitable for shooting pictures in the evening or at night. The camera sets a slower shutter speed than is used in normal shooting. If you take a picture of a street at night in any other mode, the lack of brightness will result in a dark picture with only dots of light showing. In this mode, the true appearance of the street is captured. The camera automatically sets the optimal shooting conditions. If you use the flash, you can take pictures of both your subject and the night background. SCENE Scene mode enables you to select one of the following scene shooting modes available in the menu. Landscape + Scene shooting Landscape + Scene shooting is suitable for taking pictures of landscapes and other outdoor scenes. This mode produces clear, sharp pictures with excellent detail, making it ideal for shooting natural scenery. Landscape + Portrait shooting Landscape + Portrait shooting is suitable for taking photos of both your subject and the background. The picture is taken with the background as well as the subject in the foreground in focus. The camera automatically sets the optimal shooting settings QuickTime Movie Quicktime Movie mode lets you record movies. The focus and zoom are locked. If the distance to the subject changes, the focus may be compromised. Landscape Landscape mode is suitable for taking pictures of landscapes and other outdoor scenes. The camera automatically sets the optimal shooting conditions. Self-portrait Self-portrait mode enables you to take a picture of yourself while holding the camera. Point the lens towards yourself, and the focus will be locked on you. The camera automatically sets the optimal shooting conditions. The zoom is fixed in the wide position and cannot be changed. My Mode Enables you to make settings manually and register them in the mode dial's mode so you can call up your own shooting mode whenever you want. Program shooting (P) Program shooting allows you to shoot using an aperture and shutter speed that the camera sets. You can set the flash, white balance, or other functions manually. Aperture priority shooting (A) Aperture priority shooting allows you to set the aperture manually. The camera sets the shutter speed automatically. By decreasing the aperture value (F-number), the camera will focus within a smaller range, producing a picture with a blurred background. Increasing the value will let the camera focus over a wider range in the forward and backward directions, resulting in a picture in which
