IF The LIGHT IS FLASHING GREEN then there is something wrong with your wireless network
Check your network settings and Retry connecting

Check the adapter's status light loadTOCNode(2, 'moreinformation'); The adapter's status light can tell you a lot about the state that the adapter is in. Here's what the different lights mean:
  • Steady green light: The adapter is connected to a wireless router, gateway, or access point. The adapter is ready to use.

Check the status light on your adapter The state of the adapter's status light indicator can tell you the status of the Xbox 360 Wireless G Networking Adapter. Here's what the different lights mean:
  • Steady green light: The adapter is connected to a wireless router, gateway, or access point. The adapter is ready to use.

  • Steady red light: The adapter is ready to be configured. For information on how to do this, please see: 908877 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908877/ ) How to configure wireless settings on your Xbox 360 console
  • Flashing red light: There is a problem. The adapter might be experiencing a hardware failure. Contact Xbox support.
  • Not illuminated: The adapter is not receiving power. Unplug the USB connector and plug it in again. Still no light? Try plugging the adapter into a USB port on the front of the console.

  1. On the console, go to My Xbox, and then select System Settings.
  2. Select Network Settings.
  3. Select Configure Network.
  4. On the Basic Settings tab, select Wireless Mode.

Note If wireless mode is not available and you are using the black Wireless N Networking Adapter, try using the software installation disc included with the adapter. For more information about how to do this, please see the following article:
977641 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/977641/ ) How to set up the Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter
  5. Select Scan for Networks.
  6. Select your wireless network name.

If your network is not listed, try the following:
    1. Select Specify Unlisted Network, and enter your wireless network name (also referred to as your Service Set Identifier [SSID]).
    2. Select your wireless security: WEP, WPA, WPA2, or No Security (if your network doesn't have a password).

If you can't connect to your wireless network, try improving your wireless signal using the tips in the following article:
      909336 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909336/ ) Your Xbox 360 console receives a weak wireless signal

  7. Enter your wireless network password, and then select Done.

Note Make sure that you have entered the correct password. An incorrect password might allow your console to connect to your wireless network, but you might receive an IP address error when you test your Xbox LIVE connection.
  8. Press B on your controller, and then select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

If you successfully connect to Xbox LIVE, you'll see this screen:
