You can upgrade you memory to 2 x 512MB DDR PC2700 333MHz, and install pretty much any size 2.5" IDE hard drive you wish. Installing Vista will make this machine very very slow. Windows 7 would be better as it uses less resources. Ideally XP Pro would be better suited based on this boards specifications.
check your memory card(s) you may have a bad on or two, and if that doesn't work then sounds like the mother board has become defective and needs replacing, but the ram Memory would be the cheeper fix first.
hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? Friend if that happens that it will not turn on after doing such things I suggest to remove first your DVD burner and installed back your Memory.be sure it is seated firmly in its position try to see the marking on your memory and on your mainboard.then try to reboot your pc. after rebooting if it powers on so thats the time you go back again in putting back your DVD burner. Remember dont install your DVD burner unless your pc turns on to avoid misleading. try to do it bro. good luck hope i helped you.
