But the problem still remains. repairman attempted to order parts to repair including thermal fuses and some board for something, only to find that Panasonic no longer makes the required parts to fix it. This problem has been happening for two months now. still waiting for word from from my warranty service in their attempt to find the parts...

I think i have found the fix
I kind of feel dumb for all the mess i have gone though to get here and if im right it is soo simple
Dont buy a panasonic haha jk
Directily under the panasonic logo is ur air filter
Pull off you speaker cover at the bottom of ur tv
Then directily under that log is a pannel with two screws
Take that off
now take can air and blow out the foam u see on your optical lense
top and bottom
be careful the optical lense cost $800 so dont turn ur caned air upside down
this is what i finaly did and so far so good
it has taken me over a month of taking my tv apart every night to see what was right infront of my face i hope this helps everone

I have a panasonic PT-52LCX35. Everything is working fine except for one thing.
There are patches of yellow on different parts of the picture being displayed.
Tried to adjust in the settings did not do any good.
Could this be a problem with the lamp?

Where is the air filter located on panasonic tv PT-52LCX35

Download the manual. It should tell you there. You may need to locate the Repair and maintenance manual, not the user manual (and surely not the quick guide)

I have a Panasonic Model PT-50LC13 flat TV. Was working when got it brought it home, it is used and now when I go to turn it on --- we get a green light then a flash of 5 yellows blinks then no light for...

Hi,
This tv has 3 indicator lights on front, Power, Lamp and Temp
I assume Temp light is blinking 5 times after every 5 seconds, if that is correct then it is problem of clogged air filter located in light engine that need to be cleaned.
Below is an image of light engine and air filters locations are marked with red circle, it is job of professional to fix this issue because complete light engine need to be take out from tv cabinet.
Hope these info will help you, let me know if you have additional question or need service manual copy if you want to repair tv by yourself.
Thanks.

I have a Panasonic 52lcx35. I contacted Panasonic, and they sent a repairman to "repair" the green spots we were seeing (this was the only problem). He did something, and afterwards, the tv only turns on...

amber weaver,

It sounds like the repairman forgot to reconnect one or more of the fan motors. There are several in these units and if not connected you will get the error you mentioned. Unplug the unit and remove the back. Locate all the fans (this may take some time to make sure you have them all).

There could be 3 or 4. Check each one's wire to make sure they are all connected to wires or an appropriate board. If this is your problem this should solve it.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the great rating!!

Hi,
3 times LED blinks in Panasonic PT-47WX42 shows problem with convergence out chips failure as this tv has two big black ICs STK392-110 as convergence output, replace them to fix tv problem.
Click Part Store to see an image of required chip and price info.
Local tv tech is recommended if you have no experience of working in tv circuit boards.

Remove the Lamp and look for a white fog inside. It is bad if it looks that way.
If thats not it, Call a good TV Tech to troubleshoot the problem. Lightning can do about anything to electronics.
