I am looking for information on this mini dv. My parents bought this product for me a couple of weeks ago from Singapore. It didn't come with a disc to load any special program onto my computer. It also didn't come with any cables to hook up to my computer. I have tried doing several searches on google and have checked out ebay and other popular buying sites but this particular model doesn't seem to come up with anything. Is this model obsolete or is it new?

- We need Instructions for use in English as the brochure we received with the camera (GR-D820E) does not include info in English.

i have bought the same camera and did not get any English manuel with it.
i^m lucky that i understand German but that dosen^t help as i still can^t connect my camera to my laptop even with the sugessted DV cable.

i am now thinking about bringing it back to the retailer as even by JVC.com this camera is not in the product list.
