The first thing I would do is turn gas valve off and remove lower panel in floor of oven. With the gas turn off and panel turn oven on high and see if the igniter begins to glow. If not carfully remove and examine for cracks. Use care in removal and replacement of igniters because they appear to be strong yet made of carbon like material and very easily broken.*(not all the same) The part number for yours is Click Here=> 8054129 Ignighter Assembly Use caution and never try this test with gas turned on or with lower oven panel removed while gas is on.
Please rate my solution after I have helped you resolve the problem and communicate with me. I am offering my help to you free. Bertazzoni gas range oven can't be turned on

one potential solution if your Bertazzoni gas range oven can't be turned on is to check the thermocouple safety device, which is installed on every gas burner on the maintop and oven . If the thermocouple safety device is not functioning properly, it may prevent the flow of gas to the oven and cause it to not turn on. You could also check the gas flow issues if the outer ring of the burner ignites immediately but the inner ring takes a few seconds to light up.
If these solutions do not work, you may need to contact a Bertazzoni representative or a certified technician for further assistance in troubleshooting and resolving the issue with your gas range oven.

Lower burner in oven will not light the ignighter does go on broiler works

Hello,

Since the bake burner does glow yet no flame that means that the igniter is weak and should replaced...the way the igniter works is that it comes on and get very hot where upon getting hot it draws a certain amount of amperage which will allow the gas valve to open resulting in a flame. The igniter is indeed coming on yet its not getting hot enough to draw the proper amp drqaw to open the gas valve...by replacing it with a new fresh igniter it will draw the correct amprage and let the gas flow.

I have a Maytag gas range model MGR 5729 ADW. My problem is this: 1. The igniter glows brightly 2. Burner will light with a strong woosh, but not until 2-3 minutes. 3. Burner goes out after about 30...

get in a gas fitter to properly diagnose the problem,
igniters in ovens normally click / flash as that ignites gas quicker than a hot wire so I suspect that is problem 1
problem 2 indicates that there is a gas flow problem, probably a faulty hose or regulator
what ever it is , gas is not in the domain of diy so an accredited professional gas fitter is required to do the fix

If my electricity goes out is there anther way to light my gas stve that has and electronic ignighter

If you have a gas range that allows the gas to flow freely on the surface burners, you can light them by using a match or lighter. Hold the match or lighter adjacent to the burner you intend to light and slowly turn the gas on. The burner should light.

However, the oven still will NOT work due to that fact that modern ovens are electronically controlled by the control panel on the range. So...you will still be able to cook, using the surface burners, but the oven will not function. If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.
