Just like the 5 other posts you have regarding omaha.com. I have a customer who cannot access omaha.com at all. I can access it about maybe 10% of the time. Most of the time it appears to be a MTU or a DNS problem. But I run trace routes and it and appears to be blocking at their end. My end is waiting for a response. What is wrong at their end? What would you tell the "customer"? "I'm sorry sir but the entire Internet works fine on your computer except one website."
btw Hosts file is OK, no proxy, no virus/spyware, tried it on different networks routers, changed NIC, reset tcpip, etc. nothing helped
No help - thanks for trying - this is not an individual PC thing. This is throughout the network. And we get the same results on another network, different firewall/router etc. The problem is on their end.
Try adding it as a Trusted site under Internet Options. that makes no sense that Omaha herald would be blocked.
Maybe they have some kind of firewall settings or Spybot's TeaTimer running...and probably said no to one of the dialogs and it blocks the page based on a Blacklist.
try it. . .
